What we collect
Account details (name, email, date of birth), the profile information you choose to share, and usage data needed to operate the service such as matches, messages with your matches, and reports you file.
What we never show publicly
Your full date of birth, email address, phone number, and precise location are never displayed on your public profile. We show your age and general city only.
How we use your data
To provide matching and messaging, keep the community safe, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Security
Authentication and data access are protected server-side. Database access is governed by row-level security so one member cannot read another's private data. Privileged keys are never exposed to the browser.
Your controls
You can edit or remove profile information, adjust discovery preferences, block or report others, deactivate your account, or delete it permanently — all from Settings.
Data retention
When you delete your account, your profile and associated personal data are removed according to our retention policy. Some records may be retained where required for safety or legal reasons.
